Our Daily Devotional

Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly, And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heard my voice.

Text: Jonah 2:1-2

Please read the chapter and bring on your questions and comments.

Jonah cried out unto the lord from the belly of a whale. What a place to hold a prayer meeting. This teaches us that there is no place on earth where we can not or should not pray.

There is no situation we find our self that our God can not solve or that is above prayers. Now the Hebrew for the word" hell' is also rendered 'grave'. So, it's like Jonah was literarily dead and the belly of the whale was his grave.

But God heard him and raised him from the dead so to speak. Situations by nature will always be faith intimidating. But the truth is that faith is an over comer. It overcomes every challenging opposition in this life. Your own situation is not insurmountable therefore. Pray about it in faith and with faith to the God of all might and start celebrating.

Ernest prayers of faith avails much.
Remember! The testimonies of Faith prayers is clear; It subdues forces, works righteousness, obtains promises, stops lions, quenches violence and fire, escapes the edge of the swords, strengthens the weak, makes valiant in fights, turns to flight the armies of the aliens and raises the dead.
Join the wagon, call on God now, he is all ears.

Worship and pray.
