Quote of the Day

Most people achieved their greatest successes one step beyond what looked like their greatest failure.

Our Daily Devotional [03/06/2018]

Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know. Text: Jeremiah 33:3 This passage is impossible to read without wanting it to be true! For me, personally, this is a “button pusher.” It indicates that God wants to be an integral part of our lives. Not only does God reveal his will to us by his Spirit, but he also shows us other great and mighty things. These can include his counsel, guidance, blessing, or opportunities in our professions or for ministry. Nothing is beyond the sovereignty of the Creator of heaven and earth!  Job, when he acknowledged the awesome acts of the God as the One who hangs the earth on nothing, who stirs up the sea in all of its power, and by his Spirit adorns the heavens, said that we have indeed only seen the mere edges of God’s ways! This is also true of our relationship with the almighty God. We have so much more to see and experience in the days ahead as we continue to learn more about h...

Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death. Text: Proverbs 11:4 Please read the whole of Proverbs 11 Surely riches is profitable and riches are profits in life. As far as I know according to the scriptures, riches is better than penury and riches are righteous in itself. In fact, the standard of God for us His children is to be rich and righteous. However, worldly riches are limited in scope of security and durability. It can grow wings and fly away and it can not actually save or deliver on a determined day of judgement. For these reasons it is not to be loved and trusted. It is only best to be used right for the purpose God gives it. (propagating the kingdom gospel). There is only one thing that attracts and keeps true riches; and that is righteousness. It is a gift from God and a dependable security in the day of wrath or judgement. Be clear about this beloved: righteousness exalts, secures and justifies. It is stronger than deat...

Kindness is never wasted. No matter how small your deed is. Do good always! Always do the right things at all time, cast your bread upon many waters, spread your seeds, extended a helping hand to someone or some people, visit the motherless, help the widow, no amount of kindness is too small, and it's not wasted. Know this, you can show kindness in several ways, you can give your time, your advice and words of encouragement, helping someone in one way or the other, when you see someone who has a breakdown on the way, if you can help fix the problem or you know someone in the area who can help, contact the person, whatever you can do to extend kindness to someone do it. Surly, God will surely reward you, when showing kindness, take your eyes off in receiving prize from the fellow back, focus on God, He is the one who will reward your kindness is a very special way. Don't help people to get something in return from them, don't show kindness to only people who...

Sing to the Lord with grateful praise; make music to our God on the harp. Text: Psalms 147:7 Please read the whole of Psalms 147 Music and love go together, because music comes from the heart. It’s not something you do intellectually. It’s something that comes out of your soul, your emotions. There are many love songs in the world. But did you know that more songs have been written about Jesus Christ than any other topic in the world? Christianity is a singing faith. Why? Because it’s not about religion. It’s about a love affair. It’s about a relationship with God, who loves you so much that he sent his Son to die for you and who wants you to love him back. Nothing will make you more aware of God’s love and presence in your life than singing and praise. You may be thinking, “But I can’t sing.” The Bible says; make a joyful noise. I know you can do that because probably when you go to a sports game or when somebody’s getting married, you make a joyful noise. ...

Leadership is the capacity to influence others through inspiration, motivated by a passion, generated by a vision, produced by a conviction, ignited by a purpose. Leadership is not only when you become the president of your country, group and society. Leadership starts from your home, as one of the members of your family you're a leader, you have people looking up to you, those people learn from you, but in your absence, you're leading them by your actions, commitments to house chores, showing respect to the younger ones coming behind. Everywhere you find yourself, you're a leader directly or  indirectly your have followers who are looking up to you, monitoring each and every of your movements. People are learning from you, know how you present yourself to people around you. They are influenced in a positive way if you're passing a positive vibe, reverse is the case.
