To know God's will, there are a couple of things you need to do.
Things you need to do to Know God's will:
- Admit that you need guidance: People generally, men especially does not like to admit when they are confused. When you think you know but actually do not know, you might want to stop and admit that you need guidance, because it is the first step in finding God's will for your life. Psalm 25:9. "He leads the humble in justice, And He teaches the humble His way."
- Ask God in faith for directions: Please note that there are two keys to this point. Ask the right person: God. You don't ask some "reliable" authority. You must ask the right person. Second, you got to ask with the right attitude: expecting God to answer. If you ever ask God to lead you but you didn't really expect his leading: that is the very reason why you will get nothing out of the whole thing. You must ask with the expectation for an answer. James 1:6. "But when you ask for something, you must have faith and not doubt. Anyone who doubts is like an ocean wave tossed around in a storm".
God still honours faith and has promised us wisdom for the future steps of our lives.
