Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

Waiting for an answer from God is one of the most uncomfortable position we can be in. What does God expect us to do whilst in this position? It is observed that we can endure waiting as long as we can grumble while we wait? We tolerate waiting as long as we can argue and debate about the last football game of our team.
However, God says, “Be still.” but like a child no sooner we get nervous and restless. We feel like getting up and doing something. Yet God says, “Wait patiently. Be still. Watch me act. Don’t get restless, don’t get nervous, and don’t try to take matters into your own hands.” Don’t ever make Abraham’s mistake. It will cause all kinds of problems!
Abraham was 99 years old, and childless. He looked at his own body and said, “No way". And he looked at his wife, Sarah, who was infertile, and said, “Double no way! This is not going to happen.” So Abraham took matters into his own hands and had a baby with his wife’s maid, Hagar. What a lifetime mistake it ended up to be. God said, “No, no. You missed the point. That’s not my answer to prayer. That’s your answer to prayer. I’ve got a miracle boy coming.
God had the last laugh. Isaac was born, promise is fulfilled but rivalry and strife just began.

Wait for God beloved. He has never disappointed.
Worship and pray.
