Our Daily Devotional
And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

Text: Psalms 50:15.

Please read the whole of Psalms 50  bring your questions and comments.

God wants you to ask him for help when you are in trouble. And I guess that this must be a quick, short, to-the-point kind of a call: Like, Help!. When temptation strikes suddenly you don’t have time for a long prayer to God, simply cry out! Lord help me! I know that no human calls out another for help mentioning their first and last names. David, Daniel is just enough. Countless people in the Bible prayed this kind of instant prayer for help whilst in trouble.
The Bible guarantees that our cry for help will be heard because Jesus is sympathetic to our struggle. He faced the same kinds of problems we do. He understands our weaknesses.

If God is waiting to help us, why don’t we turn to him more often? Honestly, sometimes is like we don’t want to be helped! At that moment we think we know what’s best for us. At other times we’re embarrassed to ask God for help, more so if we are owning God having not paid our vows to him according to verse 14 of Psalms 50:14.

However, God’s love is everlasting, and his patience endures forever. Ask him for help and then watch what he would do. "So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

Hebrews 4:16. Enjoy his presence.
Worship and pray.
