Daily Devotional - Job 8:2
How long wilt thou speak these things? and how long shall the words of thy mouth be like a strong wild.

Text: Job 8:2

Please read the chapter and bring on your questions and comments.

The words that we speak are always a reflection of our hearts and the state of our minds. The most consistent information in our  mindset will determine the base of our life decisions and actions. If our mind is focused on the right things, the right things we'll speak forth.
If our mind dwells on negative and lifeless things, dead and dirty words we'll speak forth. By "dead things" I mean none refreshing or gracious words will come out of our mouth. To edify is to build up and this is done through speaking of good words.

This is why we need to be mindful of the things we feed our minds with. Because our minds will dwell on them and formulate beliefs and convictions based on such. Avoid feeding your mind with things that tear down and hurt others, so that you don't end up hurting others and yourself.

Feed yourself with godly materials, such that gives life, and you will end up giving and building lives speaking gracious words.
Be wise and walk profitably in the counsel of the Lord and your words and advice give life and restoration to those who need it. Make sure your words are based on the Word of God, so you will be able to refresh the souls of many.

Start from today to speak better. There is always room for improvement.
Worship and pray.
