Motivational Speech - The Connection between Divinity and Humanity

The connection between Divinity and Humanity is a straight line called 'Humility'.

Jesus Christ, the son of God, to be human has to be Jesus of Nazareth, son of man, by implication has to relinquish his heavenly, glorious throne just to dwell and dine with humanity, even as an average human (citizen).

After all his said and done, to be a divine entity, he still has to humble himself to death, even death on the cross (crucification), a form of death meant for notorious and unrepenting criminals, by implication, the highest form of condemnation at that time. He didn't accept the death sentence because he was guilty or powerless to stop the sentence, but accepted it because he was sentenced in the name of the government that being human, he was subject to and he don't want to be rebellious.

Moreover, in all Jesus' story, was an action and word that is always pronounced and observed in both his personality and preachings, the word is "humility". In one of his preaching he emphasized on humility as a cord to divinity by saying the only way to make and see heaven is by becoming (humble oneself to be) a child, hence the essence of the word " born again".

Without being too grammatical, the practical definition of "Humility" is to take the form of a child, which include, but not limited to, the following;

1.) To forgive people no matter the number of times they prove offensive.

2.) To be dependent on somebody (God) and not be ashame of it.

3.) To embrace punishment (trials) as part and parcel of life.

4.) To avoid competition with other people and value yourself.

5.) To avoid jealousy.

6.) Not to be partial with loving people but impartial to love everybody.

7.) To give honour to who honour is due to.

8.) To be happy and glad all the time.

All these abovementioned characteristics (and maybe more) are ingredients of making heaven, which is the highest achievement for a lifetime, an achievement above other achievement.

Since am not a preacher directly, permit me to say the essence of this article at this point in time, is to send a message to your heart that if humility is considered the cord to heaven and divinity, which are considered to be the highest form of achievement, then I bet it has a much productive effects on other form of achievement you are looking for.

I enjoin you today to give it(humility) a place in your business, relationship, academics etc and see the powerful productive effect it offers. I bet again, you would say "Bless the Lord, o my soul, for he never lies or deceives".
