Our Daily Devotional

As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

Text: Colossians 2:6-7.

Please read the chapter and bring on your questions and comments.

It is so good to be in Christ but disastrous to be without growing. At the point of our birth in Christ, we are referred to as babies in Christ. Every living baby in life is expected to grow and so every effort made towards the baby is to induce growth in them.

Being rooted and built up, established in faith is about growing strong and deep downward, shaped and featured outwardly and operationally stable in our daily spiritual living.

Interestingly, it takes being taught aright and consistent; teachable and ever learning with gratitude before the above mentioned kind of growth can occur.

So, the question is: are you being taught right and well? if yes, are you learning and receiving well what is being taught?

Do you actually know if you are getting more and more rooted, built up and established in faith? In case you are not hitting these Spiritual heights, goal or expectations, without prejudice of any sort, you may need to change your teachers or re-examine yourself or environment.

Get to worship right now and thank God for saving your soul and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you into the right circle of environment and teachers whereby you can grow.
Pray.
