Motivational Speech - What is my Destiny?

BarneyMF Blog - Motivational Speech

Sometimes, the best way to keep and retain what we love the most, is to be ready to let go off it first; if it comes back to you, it was meant to be yours, but if it doesn't, then it was never meant to be.

This quote can't be less relevant in the baby days of Moses, Israel first prophet and priest. He was born at the time when the Israelites were still in slavery in Egypt, and there was a decree by King Pharaoh that every  male child of Hebrews women (Israelites) should be killed at birth or drowned after birth.

He saw the increasing number of the son's of Israel as a threat to him in the latter days, as he perceived that they may become freedom fighter for their people in time to come.

Moses as newly born baby then was not to be left out, and his mother just like the other Hebrew women, didn't want to lose their sons, in her own case. She tried to hide him from the nose of the Egyptians, under chances for three months. For the three months, as everyday pass by she noticed she was running out of chances.

According to the bible, "when she could no longer hide him", (indicative of lost of chances) she was worried and many thoughts of what she can do to the baby came to her head. Finally she decided to lose the child by sending the child to an unknown, an uncertain destination, as she carried the child and placed him on the water to transport him to whichever destination the waters pleases.

Moses elder sister was watching and waiting, she kept on watching to see the fate of baby, Moses mother left the site immediately after leaving him to the stream, she couldn't watch the baby's destination because it hurt her to leave him in the first place.

Finally Moses cries draw the attention of the princess, Pharaoh's daughter. Seems all hope is lost but miraculously, the princess had compassion on the child, immediately as Moses sister saw she had compassion on the child, she approached the princess and successfully talked her into having a nanny for the baby, lo and behold, she brought Moses mother to be the nanny. She weaned the child comfortably, with all confidence and always reminding him, secretly, who he is.

At this point, I must say the highlight of the story is more than "loosing what you love to have it again" but has increased, including the following;

  1. Don't lose it without trying hard to keep it first. Moses mother tried hard for three months to keep him before she resolved to loosing him. You can do the same, first try any ways seem possible ways to make it work, when you are out of ideas and chances, only then you are permitted to resolve to loosing.
  2. Always know that when you are loosing, there is someone watching, to see the end of your action, pray it is the right person. Baby Moses sister was the right person in this case, she could have chosen to call someone else but she gave Moses and his mother a chance of reunion. Yours might be your parent, friend, family member or just anybody, just pray it is the right person.
  3. When you are in destiny path, even though you enter the Lion's den, it would not harm you but feed you. Even though the princess was sure it is an Hebrew baby, she had compassion on him and let him in. Just see everything as destiny unfolding for you and fear less.
  4. It would come back to you, if it was meant to be yours in the first place. Moses mother was destined to wean her child with her own hands and she fulfilled it very comfortably. Just try to loose it and see.
  5. Where people call place of condemnation, can become for you, a place of relieve and comfort. The people of Israel feared the palace of Pharaoh and thought of it as a place of quick death for the Israelites if they go near there, but it wasn't like that for Moses and his mother as they gain comfort and happiness in the walls of the palace of Egypt. Though it didn't work for other people it might work for you, JUST TRY.

Now you know what to do now when you've tried to make a relationship  work with somebody or something work severally, and all your efforts proved futile. Be man enough to lose as fate but with faith that you pick it up again if is truly yours to be.

By this you can confirm that your possession is not by chances or guess but by fate, otherwise call it DESTINY.
